ST JOSEPH’S School held its annual cross-country in perfect weather on Thursday following days of torrential rain.
Event organiser David Mackenzie said the event was all about participation, with most children expected to take place in either a competitive or non-competitive race.
House points were awarded for taking part and Viard House won with Chanel House second.
“In spite of the participation emphasis it is still very competitive with the top runners for years 4 and above eligible to compete in the inter-school competition held later this year.”
Mr Mackenzie said the children had trained for the event since the beginning of term three.
