GREEN MP Kevin Hague will speak about sustainable economic development in communities at a meeting in Whakatane next Friday.
Mr Hague’s portfolios include rural affairs, cycling and active transport, biosecurity and customs, conservation, health and wellbeing services, gambling, agriculture, sport and recreation and “rainbow” issues. Based in Nelson, he is also a former chief executive of the West Coast District Health Board and executive director of the New Zealand AIDS Foundation.
The meeting at Eastbay REAP in Pyne Street begins at 1.30pm and runs until 4pm. There will be time for questions and answers following Mr Hague’s presentation.
